New off leash puppy Class starts this Sunday the 19th!!!

Enroll in the Talk Dog Toledo Off-Leash Puppy I Class

You are invited to bring your dog along for a 6-week education course. Begins June 19th @ 12pm - each class will last approx. one hour.

 Small class up to 8 puppies, so sign up early.

Unlike adult classes, the puppy class

curriculum is huge and comprises bite inhibition (soft mouth), socialization to people (especially children, men, and strangers) and other dogs,, temperament training, behavior problem counseling, and basic manners.

Puppy I class priorities are teaching bite inhibition (so your puppy develops a soft mouth), socializing your puppy and teaching basic manners, with all training interludes embedded in off-leash play.

The classes are taught by Cheryl Kubista, your local Master Dog Behavioral Therapist and Trainer. The cost is $200 per dog. Talk Dog Toledo’s Puppy I Class is for puppies between 12 weeks and 20 weeks old only. All puppies must current on vaccines and on flea treatments.

Enroll in a Canine Good Citizens Class with Talk Dog Toledo

You are invited to bring your dog along for a 7-week education. Begins March 9th @ 7:30pm- each class will last approx. one hour.

 Small class of only 6 dogs, so sign up early.

This course will cover the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test curriculum:

1-Accepting a Friendly Stranger

2-Sitting Politely for petting

3-Appearance and Grooming

4-Walking on a Loose Leash

5-Walking Through a Crowd

6-Sit and Down/ Stay

7-Coming When Called

8-Reaction to another Dog

9-Reaction to Distractions

10-Supervised Separation 

The classes are taught by Cheryl Kubista, your local Master Dog Behavioral Therapist and Trainer. This education course is aimed at giving you more understanding and control of your dog. The cost is $175 per dog. This class is for all dogs a minimum age of 5 months.  All dogs must be fully vaccinated and on flea treatments.  No aggressive dogs permitted.  Previous basic obedience skills preferred.  AKC CGC Test will be administered on the last day of training. AKC fees for certificate are $8 or $20 with title.

You are invited to bring your dog along for a 6-week education course. Begins March 9th@ 6:00pm - each class will last approx. one hour.

 Small class of only 6 dogs, so sign up early.

This course will cover the AKC Star puppy program:

 

S*socialization

T*training

A*activity

R*responsibility

 

Including owner behaviors, puppy behaviors and pre-canine good citizen test behaviors.

 

The classes are taught by Cheryl Kubista, your local Master Dog Behavioral Therapist and Trainer. The STAR puppy course is aimed at basic training and socialization with your new puppy. The cost is $160 per dog. STAR puppy classes are for all puppies a maximum age 6 months.  All puppies must be vaccinated and on flea treatments.
